Your battery detects the outage in milliseconds and takes over with whole-home backup. Lights, fridge, internet, and outlets stay on. You'll get a notification in the app, and another when grid power returns. You do not need to do anything to turn on your battery during an outage.

In regions where Time-of-Use rates are available, we'll help you switch to your utility's TOU plan. Your battery then automatically charges during off-peak hours and discharges during peak hours, arbitraging the rate difference to lower your electric bill.
